About Raquel

Raquel (she/her/ella) is a bilingual Latine macro social worker, therapist, and educator who actively commits to culturally attuned healing, community-rooted leadership, and public policy grounded in liberation. Born in Los Angeles, CA to parents from Guayaquil, Ecuador, Raquel draws from her lived experience navigating bicultural environments where advocacy was a necessity, not a choice. She grounds her work in the core values of integrity, empathy, liberation, and collective care.

As a social work educator and therapist, Raquel centers the voices of communities historically silenced or misrepresented. She builds liberatory spaces for growth—whether in the classroom, in therapeutic practice, or through community-based trainings. Her approach weaves together culturally aware mental health approaches, leadership development, and systemic change.

Over the past decade, Raquel has sharpened her skills in public speaking, facilitation, program design and management, and policy analysis across nonprofit, school-based, and federal sectors. Her background spans reproductive justice, mental health access, employee engagement, social work education, and leadership training—providing a dynamic foundation for her multifaceted work.

Our mission is To provide culturally responsive therapy, education, and leadership support that centers healing, voice, and liberation for individuals and communities from all walks of life, particularly those navigating bicultural and first-generation experiences.
